Welcome to my blog. Finally I sat down and started setting up a blog. My experience (not much yet really) with wordpress is pretty good, awesome user experience, simply to understand and easy to use. 

Introduction

Guess a little information about myself wouldn’t do much harm on my “Hello World!” post. My name is Jian Sun, though known as Sun. it is actually pronounced “sooooooon”. I’m software developer working for a Microsoft ISV based in Auckland, New Zealand. I like coding, being able to tell a machine what to do has fascinated me ever since I was little. I like poking my nose around new technologies and making use of them, it gives me great satisfaction. I enjoy alpine mountaineering, tramping, diving and going nut on my zx6r (for those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s a kawasaki sport bike, known as Ninja). Unlike most people I’m not really into any racket or ball sports/games, except Pingpong it’s in the genes man

Blogging

The whole idea of blogging never really appealed to me. But somehow after had a brief conversation with Adam Green yesterday, I am sitting here setting up a blog for myself. This will be a social blog, like what most folks do on MySpace. This will also be a platform where I share my thoughts on some of the technologies I explore. Watch this space!
